It is a brilliant book that explains the psychology of why people say yes and how you can then apply them to your fitness business.
He also did a study with profound results.
When a waiter left 1 chocolate mint when she presented he got a 3% increase in tips.
When he left 2 mints his tip increased 14%.
When she left the first mint and took a few steps and said ‘becuase you were such a great customer, here is another mint, tips increased 23%.
So how can you adapt this to your personal training business?
Give something of significance to your clients. It does not have to be big. I am sure you have heard of the saying it is the thought that counts. Once again it is coming back to providing value.
Do it when they least expect it.
Make it personalized.
Again it is getting back to basics.
