The last 6 months I have built a FREE high engaging and supportive Facebook group called Women in Fitness Business.

It has gone from 0 to nearly 900 members in that short time and I continually add new ladies every single day.

My Facebook business page is at over 11 000 ‘likes’,

Both of these are working super well at attracting the people I love to help. So what will grow your fitness business faster?

Facebook Groups:

This serves as a platform for people with a common interest to come together.

It can be promoting your business, creating awareness or for buying and selling.

I’m sure you are a member of a few of these groups.

It’s a brilliant opportunity to build relationships more effectively PLUS people see my posts more often.

Reason why I started this is to provide a safe and supportive environment to support women in fitness. The ladies in the group can ask questions that wouldn’t normally be asked on a public FB page.

Multiple questions are asked daily and myself and other women in fitness jump in and answer which is awesome!

It’s such a supportive community and I love it.

I can add resources, ladies can have access to the files I upload and I even do live videos for this group only.

As it’s grown very fast we have moderate EVERY comment as I have strict rules that there is no multi level marketing or self promoted posts without my approval to ensure the group stays high quality.

Facebook Page:

Profile pages are dedicated for your business and brand. Having one of these pages also allows you to set up ads which is a MUST for any business.

Before I purchase a product or service I’ll check them out on Facebook and scroll through the content to see if I resonate with them.

You can promote your offers, create a ton of value, inspire, motivate and drive people over to your website.

People get to like you and see what you have to say and offer before connecting with you.

When you understand the strategy behind converting likes to leads it becomes easy and because it’s affordable it’s something you want to be continually doing.

Bonus is your Facebook page is public so it shows up in Google which increases your reach and visibility.

Pages VS Groups – what is best for you?

Depends on what you want to achieve.

If you are wanting to establish your name and get brand awareness then a FB page is a great start.

If you want to build your business further, create a community and build relationships then a FB group is for you.

Most of you have a FB page but if you are feeling it’s not giving you the reach you want or generating engagement then definitely consider the group as an option.

I LOVE groups! It provides an opportunity for your to grow your business as leads come flowing though, you establish yourself as the expert and in the process provide a supportive community that absolutely love you!
